ATTENTION ALL PARENTS! There will be early dismissal this week on 11/17, 11/18, 11/19, and 11/20, for afternoon Parent / Teacher conferences. Dismissal is at 11:52am. No lunch will be served.
TO ALL 8TH GRADE STUDENTS: The Cookie Dough Delivery Date is going to be Wednesday, December 2,2009 between 8am and 11am. If you have sold 4 or more tubs of cookie dough please arrange a ride home or have your parents come and pick it up in the morning.
TO ALL PARENTS: If you need to call your child out absent please call our Attendance line at 270-6145. Please leave a detailed message with your childs first and last name, Cluster and Grade, and the reason why the student will be absent. Thank you.
ATTENTION ALL PARENTS AND STUDENTS: The 2010 yearbook is on sale online! Save $5.00 when you place your order before Dec. 1,2009. Go to the NMS homepage and click on the yearbook link to place your order!
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Today is the last day of our food drive. Student Council representatives must bring all remaining donations to room C3 this morning during homeroom. Thank you to everyone who has supported the food drive!!
ATTENTION ALL ACTORS, ACTRESSES, AND MUSICIANS: We will have an Open Audition for any student interested in trying out for the play on Monday, November 30,2009 from 2:15-5:00pm. Any student who is interested should come as early as that afternoon. We will stay until all students have auditioned.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Come join "Bling" a jewelry making club. We make then sell the jewelry and donate the profits to charity. A fun and creative club for anyone! Bling will begin to meet on Monday's after school starting November 16th until 3:00pm.
ATTENTION ALL WRITERS: Mrs. Olsen and Mrs. Blasko are looking for writers to join the Literary Magazine writing club. The Writing Club will meet from December until the magazine is ready for publication in March. Why join?...to meet with other writers, to make friends, and to write and edit for our Award Winning Newtown Middle School Literary Magazine - The Opus Optima. We will meet every Wednesday beginning December 2nd from 2:00-3:00pm in the Lap - Top Lab, B9. Still not sure??? Take a look at past issues of this award winning magazine on display and available for circulation in the Library Media Center. Hope to see you there! TO ALL YEARBOOK STUDENTS: There will be no Yearbook Meeting this week. ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Please check the lost and found in the back of the Cafeteria for any of your missing items, all found items will be donated to charity if not claimed. Thank you. TO ALL STUDENTS: Cub Scout and Boy Scouts of Newtown are collecting used coats to benefit the Bridgeport Rescue Mission. A collection box is located in the lobby until November 30th. Please help with keeping our neighbors warm! ALL DANCE TEAM MEMBERS: Dance Team is cancelled today. See you Monday. To all Student Council Homeroom Representatives: There will be a Student Council meeting next Monday afternoon, November 23, until 2:45 in room C3. We will have a snack and work on our program for this year. Be sure to arrange a ride home. See you Monday afternoon.
