A Note to Parents

 

To maintain your children's math skills, please take the time to do some simple math activities with them throughout the summer.  Just a few minutes each day spent "thinking and talking math" will help reinforce and strengthen concepts that have been learned.

The purpose is for your child to have fun thinking and communicating about math...a little bit each day!  Some of the activities require pencil and paper, some are conversational, and some are based on physical activities.  Many involve going outside and finding math in the world around us.  These calendars are for home use only; they should not be returned to school in the fall.
